Gateway Express Router
ImageStream continues to bring high-performance, low cost solutions to the market with its new line of Express Series Routers and Accessories.
The new Gateway Express Router from ImageStream includes a PCI Express backplane for faster performance. PCI Express, or PCIe for short, is a scalable Input/Output serial bus technology which has several advantages including increased performance at a low price point. PCIe is a point-to-point connection, meaning it does not share bandwidth, but allows for direct communication between devices via a switch that directs data flow. It also consumes less power than standard PCI. The new Gateway Express Router features two PCIe x8, two PCIe x4, two PCI-X 64-bit 133 MHz and two PCI 32-bit 33 MHz slots for ultimate flexibility in your configuration needs.
